CHARACTER
Name: Elizabeth Comstock
Canon: Bioshock Infinite
Age: 20 - 23
Timeline: End of Burial at Sea I.
Personality:
Elizabeth can be described quickly as a jaded woman and though she shows signs of confidence, she also displays vulnerability from the most loneliest perspectives: neglect, attachment, and dissociation. Elizabeth once had a great spark for life and had many aspirations, admiration, and most of all dreams to fulfill. Now, Elizabeth now only has one focus and that is to administer revenge. Her carefree attitude and childhood dreams diminished greatly through her transition from a girl to a woman. Elizabeth conducts herself with very little empathy or interest to her fellow citizens of Rapture. Even though Elizabeth has been living there for some time (although the amount of time is up for interpretation) she never made any friends only business associates and only those who would benefit her cause.
She is a studious woman, taking the time to read articles, journals, philosophy books, and ideals printed in regards to this time era and certainly that which involve the underwater city of Rapture. When presented with a problem Elizabeth is the type to study and analyse it and come up with the best possible solution to the problem. So is the mentality she undertakes when she first enters Rapture. She needs to understand where she is, what she could use for advantage, and certainly blend in to the year 1958 being that she is originally from 1912. She learns the founders, the council, the important faces and people that help keep Rapture a successful functioning city and furthermore how to infiltrate Rapture's most important social circles to manipulate her position for gaining necessary information for her mission.
Elizabeth is vindictive as her mission is to not only kill her enemy but to bring him to his knees in self-awareness and self-deprecation before she would kill him. This mentality is poignant to the fact that Elizabeth is very different to who she use to be but there are significant defining factors that helps develop Elizabeth to be the woman whom she's become. As it is said in the game: "What makes a girl a woman?" .. "blood." Elizabeth has killed ultimately transitioning from the position of being around someone who kills to becoming a murderer herself. This clears up the grey area as to why one must kill and the attributing factors: kill or be killed, draw first or don't draw at all, survive or die for others.
Elizabeth's neglect has been a constant throughout her entire life, she was imprisoned since she was a small baby without parents. Her attachment issues come from the fact that she was indeed abandoned and later in life when she does meet her only friend he too is too quickly taken from her. Finally her dissociation comes from the inability to truly appreciate herself in a world. In her canon she is able to open "Tears" and hop in and out of infinite realities. Her dissociation is the product of her various experiences to her environment and how those in it treated her. She also devalues people in the sense of her opening a new tear in a universe in which that person is alive and she can easily replace their death with life. However disagreeing the multitudes of alternates behave to this resolve, Elizabeth often only shows regret after the fact of her meddling.

Abilities:
”Elizabeth is gifted with the ability to manipulate Tears, contingencies within the space-time continuum that show possible scenarios which, if tampered with, can enact themselves within Columbia or any universe in particular. Elizabeth can exploit Tears to summon objects such as weapons, ammunition or parts of the scenery, as well as living beings. She can also use these Tears to modify time and space, and is able to transport herself and others to other timelines and realities." -Bioshock wikia

[Elizabeth comes into view, and she is still. It is only after a breath did she speak, and with a sudden avoidance of her eyes: ]
I assume someone here already has an answer to this, I don't know if it's a question that has been asked multiple times already or if I'm just asking it over and over again in my head..
[ She then glances to the device, holding her eyes to the camera lens. Her lips part and softly close for a breath through her nostrils before she speaks again. ]
I've heard of people coming and going and If they remember then they're the same, if they do not then.. are they them?
Prose Log Sample:
Dangerous. Elizabeth sat in turmoil for all the things she has done in her past, her present, and the things she will do in her future. Nobody should have this ability, this power, but she did, or had it rather. To open Tears in which she once thought was a form of wish fulfillment; better opportunities, happier scenery. They were lies and yet truths all the same; two sides to a coin. Lies as these alternate realities was not for her, but true because they belonged to her in those realities. But ultimately it was dangerous, she was dangerous.
Elizabeth brought her hands together so that her left hand's fingers can bother with the right hand's pinky that wore a thimble instead a full finger. If she lost her thimble what could she do to replace it? Could she find another here? The urge to open a tear to comfort herself made her anxious and she shifted her legs on the booth she sat on.
This planet was frail with resources let alone any luxury she could hoard for herself. Exhausted and drained, only now did she begin to know the true meaning of empathy for the planet as she too felt tired and depleted. No book she could have gotten her hand on would have prepared her for the emotions that went alongside the permanent residences of guilt, shame, and fear. She had been alone for so long before she suddenly became The Lamb in which all of Columbia looked up to. But that was short lived to when she fell from the heavens to the very depths of the sea and became someone forgotten.
From there to here who was she? Who was she, who is she, and who will she become? But, without doubt, one constant will remain the same: she is Dangerous.
